CLT & Heavy Timber Installation Across Southern California

We self-perform cross-laminated timber and heavy-timber installation with our own crew, delivering faster, stronger, lower-carbon structures from crane-set erection through finish.

What is mass timber

Engineered wood, built to perform.

Cross-laminated timber (CLT) is made from layers of lumber glued in alternating directions, creating large structural panels that rival concrete and steel in strength while weighing a fraction as much. Paired with glulam beams and heavy timber framing, it forms a complete mass-timber structural system.

For owners and architects, that means dramatically faster erection, a warmer exposed-wood aesthetic, a far lower carbon footprint, and excellent, predictable fire performance. What most Southern California contractors sub out, we install ourselves.

Why build with CLT

Advantages that show up on every project.

Speed of Erection

Panels arrive precut and go up fast, cutting weeks off the schedule.

Lower Carbon

Renewable wood stores carbon instead of emitting it like concrete or steel.

Strength & Span

High strength-to-weight lets timber span far with slender structure.

Exposed-Timber Beauty

Finished ceilings and structure double as the architecture.

Fire Performance

Mass timber chars predictably and retains load capacity under fire.

Full heavy-timber scope

What we self-perform.

CLT Panels

Wall, floor, and roof panel installation, precut and craned into place.

Glulam Beams & Columns

Engineered glue-laminated members set, aligned, and connected.

Heavy Timber Framing

Post-and-beam and hybrid timber frames built to spec.

Connections & Steel Hardware

Concealed and exposed steel connectors, fasteners, and detailing.

Crane-Set Erection

Rigging and crane coordination for safe, efficient panel raising.

SIP + CLT Hybrids

Combining SIP envelopes with mass-timber structure for performance.

Common questions

CLT & heavy timber, answered.

How much faster is a CLT build?

Because panels arrive precut and are craned into place, mass-timber structures typically erect much faster than site-built framing, often shaving weeks off the structural schedule on the right project.

Does mass timber meet California seismic and fire code?

Yes. Engineered timber systems are designed to California seismic requirements, and mass timber chars predictably to retain structural capacity, which is why it is approved for a growing range of building types.

What does CLT cost compared to concrete or steel?

Material cost can be comparable or higher, but faster erection, lighter foundations, and finished exposed structure often offset it. We provide a clear estimate for your specific project.
